Leanne Thompson

About Me

Leanne received her Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Public Accounting from Georgia Southern University in 1991. She also attended the Southern Audit and Operations School in 1996. Leanne has twenty-two years of experience in the accounting field. She presently serves as a staff accountant with a primary emphasis in auditing of governments and other organizations. Prior to joining the firm, Leanne’s professional career included thirteen years in banking where she received extensive experience in the area of internal risk management, compliance and internal audit. Leanne is also trained in the areas of lending, operations, and human resources. Leanne is a member of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants. She enjoys serving her community and helping others. She is a member of the Exchange Club of Statesboro. Leanne is a member of Friendship Baptist Church and a native of Bulloch County. She and her husband reside in Statesboro and have two children.
